what do we play for 3 days in Easter weekend?

video game

It’s the first three-day weekend of the year, so it’s the perfect time to catch up on your video game sessions.

Even if you love your job, you can’t spit on a long weekend to reconnect with your favorite entertainment. Video game fans will be thrilled to be able to resume their neglected adventures, or start new ones. But after a busy period since Christmas, what are we going to play? Here are some ideas.

On Nintendo Switch
Let’s start with the console that is easiest to turn on. The Nintendo Switch has the big advantage of being a family machine, so it is possible to indulge in your passion with your children or the loved ones you will see this Easter weekend. Why not get back to Super Mario Bros. Wonder? Released last year, it contains many levels for players of all ages. The rewriting of its universe promises a refreshing epic even for those who know the franchise perfectly and we can’t get enough of its special powers.

If you’re more into solo adventure, the brand-new Princess Peach Showtime is a great alternative. This is the first title featuring the princess as the only heroine, and a versatile one at that! Sometimes a detective, sometimes a professional skater, the young woman embodies many professions to complete levels that are not as easy as one would have thought.

Otherwise, we can warmly recommend the indie title Promenade, a game that smells like spring and will delight lovers of 2D adventure. You play as a small character in search of the parts of a broken elevator. He will meet many friends, but also challenges. It’s also been available on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC for a few months.

On consoles
It’s a three-day weekend, so why not think big? It’s the perfect time to start the high-octane adventures you’ve been putting off since last year. If you like RPGs, we can only advise you to dive into the inner workings of Baldur’s Gate 3. Just for character customization, you might spend a few hours on it. Don’t hesitate to take this time since you have it!

Same thing for Cyberpunk 2077. So yes, the game isn’t all new, but it’s a safe bet that you haven’t finished it or even started it. It’s an excellent entry from CD Projekt Red, though, especially since its Phantom Liberty DLC is to die for. Often on promotion, this is your chance to join the other players in Night City.

If you haven’t played Final Fantasy VII Rebirth yet, and you’ve loved Remake, there’s nothing more natural than to indulge. Square Enix is on a roll with its revisited and fleshed-out saga. If you don’t have kids at home, this is a great game that will keep you going at least all weekend. Be careful though, it’s only available on PS5. Xbox players will be able to check out Dragon’s Dogma 2 or even the pirate game Sea of Thieves.

In the end, these next three days are mostly yours. Don’t hesitate to bring out the games you never finished, the service games you don’t want to see during the week because they suck up all your time, or try new licenses, new types of games, and even new platforms.
