Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 New Map Will Be a Formula 1 Circuit

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which is scheduled to be released on October 28, has announced the open beta and early access dates. In addition, the new map to be added to the series with the game was also announced. It seems that CoD: Modern Warfare 2 will turn the Formula 1 circuit into a battlefield.

Modern Warfare 2, the sequel to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series, which players are eagerly awaiting, was announced last April. While the release date of the game was announced as October 28, 2022, many players began to buy the game with pre-orders.

Activision announced today when the open beta and early access, which will be available to those who pre-order the game, will begin. Call of Duty’s official Twitter account shared that early access to Modern Warfare 2 will begin on September 16. But this date will only be available to PlayStation owners.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 early access and open beta dates:

Those who pre-order Modern Warfare 2 for a PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 game console will have the chance to be the first players to play the game on September 16 and 17. Players on other platforms will be able to access the game in advance on the following dates:

  • September 18 – 20: PlayStation open beta
  • September 22 – 23: Xbox and PC early access, PlayStation open beta (with cross-play support)
  • September 24 – 26: Open beta for all platforms

The game’s developer, Infinity Ward, has given another surprise in the Call of Duty Champs tournament, as well as open beta and early access dates. The developer company has announced a new multiplayer mode map that will be available in the game. The new map will take place at the Marina Bay circuit, where the Formula 1 Singapore GP is held and will bear the name ‘Marina Bay’.
